THE UNVACCINATED TAKE THE U.S. IN THE WRONG DIRECTION

Every state in the US reported an increase in COVID-19 cases in the week ending Friday, July 23rd 2021. In 34 of those states, the rate of new cases increased by more than 50%. As the Delta variant sweeps across the nation, Fox News Radio invites Mobile Health CEO Andrew Shulman to weigh in.

VACCINATION IS KEY

The more a virus circulates, mutations are inevitable. So, how do we stop the spread?

“It’s what viruses do, their goal is to continue to survive,” said Shulman. “As long as they have a host, they will continue to go from one to the next and spread and change. The goal is to get the number of hosts down and you do that by vaccinating.”

Thirty states have yet to fully vaccinate at least half of their residents. In these areas where the risk of transmissions is so high, variants like Delta have a greater chance of occurring.
